The Murshid uses to be the
Master of Taufeeq
and the Seeker
Aalim
Faazil uses to be the Master
of Tahqeeq. A Jaahil can never become Arif-Bi-Allah and
cannot reach unto the Marifat
of God because he uses to be faithless.
For the Faqeeri
(practice of Faqar), the Faqar , the Marifat
of
God and Hidayat of Lord 
, there are two signs. One is this that he
should be familiar with the Course of the extraordinary Ilm and
he should be known as a Mufassir (exegetist, commentator) and must be a Kaamil-Aalim
Faazil
in the Ilm of the Tafseer
.
Second, he should be he, who
grants the Ilm-of-Inward and the Qurb of Allah. That Murshid, who
does not have these two aforementioned signs of the Faqar of-Muhammad
Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam
; he is unfamiliar with Course
of the Marifat
of God. Whatever Mushahidaat the Jaahil shows
to you, all is Istadraaj and there is nothing of the ascension inside
it.
BAYT (COUPLET)
Acquire Ilm so that Ilm should show you Haq,
The Jaahil has no status in the sight of Allah Almighty.
A Jaahil Murshid, who is Aalim is
better like Hazrat Adam Alaihis-Salaam
and that Aalim
Murshid, who is Jaahil, he is inferior and bad as the accursed Satan
is.
HADIS
(Saying of the
Holy Prophet of Allah
Hazrat
Muhammad
Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)
Keep away of a Jaahil
Aalim! The Holy Companions Radhi-ya-Allahu
Ta-aala Anhum
respectfully
asked 'O Prophet of Allah
Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa
Aa-lehee Wa-sallam
who is a Jaahil Aalim?' His highness said 'he, who is the Aalim by
letters but Jaahil by heart'.
Seek the Ilm of the Tasdeeq
through heart
and the Ilm
of Irshaad from Faqeer.
Allah Almighty
says: My Lord! I am needy of whatever
good you send down for me. (28:24)
