Zaakireen is the Plural of Zaakir. The "remembrance" or the act of methodically remembering the Holy Names by Seeker of Allah usually through rhythmic manner as a spiritual exercise. Plural of Zikr is Azkaar. At P31 Jamey ul Asraar Hazrat Sultan Bahu Rahmatullah Alaihe says that heart becomes Living through Zikr and the Nafs becomes Dead.
