It means "the Light." Hence what thing is called the Noor and what is Noor? [Noor Uncreated Inwardly power like electricity] which emanates across the letters of alphabet of the Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat) (and) these very Anwaar are the means of Didaar and are the destiny of the Aulia-Allah - the People of Conscientiousness (and observance) (P171 Noor ul Huda Klaan).
