It means seeing the sight (and Vision) of the face of the Beloved. However when this word is written with capital D that is Didaar it means the Sight (and Vision) of Allah itself or the action of practically seeing the Sight of Allah and gazing upon Him. At Page 83 of Noor ul Huda Klaan Hazrat Sultan Bahu Rahmatullah Alaihe says that Martaba office Taufeeq and endurance of seeing Didaar is ONLY with Qadiri Seeker. At P75 Emir ul Konain Hazrat Sultan Bahu Rahmatullah Alaihe says that: without becoming honored with the Didaar of the Anwaar of the Liqaa of Hazoor the Inwardly Purity can never be attained through the Zikr Fikr Muraqiba and Wird and Wazaaif nor does the Majlis of Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aalihi Wassallam come in ones Share. "That person who does not offer Assalaat and his heart has not benevolence and the Zikr of the Lord he cannot be honored with Didaar of God" (P71 Muhik ul Faqar Klaan). Waseela of Didaar is death and (he) is delivered safe and sound to the other end of the Pul-Siraat of the Marifat by means of Death and friend unites with the Friend (P100 Aqal Baidaar).
