Breath. The soft breath or gulp of air which keeps the vital force of life in a living being. [O Seeker!] Be illuminated that Damm is of many kinds. Damm-e-Haiwaani (breath of animals) Damm-e-Insaani (breath of human being) Damm-e-Ruhi (Breath of spirit) Damm-e-Nafsi (breath of Nafs) Damm-e-Qalbi (breath of Qalb) Damm-e-Kaafir (breath of Kaafir) Damm-e-Munafiq (breath of hypocrite) Damm-e-Kaazib (breath of untruthful person) Damm-e-Faasiq (breath of abominable person) Damm-e-Momin (breath of true believer) Damm-e-Muslim (breath of Muslim) and the Damm-e-Aulia-Allah (breath of Aulia-Allah). Each one of them is a Damm (Breath). However there is difference in them. [The common people call the intake and outtake of gulp of air from lungs as breath (Damm) but] that person who could not utter voice through mouth or where does the Damm of the dead people go or to whom was assigned the voice of noise and yell. Then there is the Damm of Azal of and the voice of the Holy Prophets Alaihimus-Salaam Aulia Rahmatu-Allah Taala Alaihim and Momin which is from the Absolute God and this is perhaps a Message that their death is their total Wasal with Allah Almighty.
