These Maratib are of the Faqeers. O stupid, disrespectful and dissolute! Listen! If you will come, the door of the Mercy of Lord is open and if you will not come, the Essence of Allah Almighty is besought of all!
The Arifeen are perplexed with portent warning lesson (with example) and Hairat because the Scene of Great Assembly of the Day of Judgment is before their sight and in their consideration. They know that "everyday He exercises (universal) power" (55:29). [That is why these Arifeen] remain sometimes in Hope and sometimes in Fear.
O dear! It should be in knowledge that the expositions (Sharah) of the descriptions of the Zikr, Muraqiba, dream, death, the Ayan beyond comparison, Tawassal (Waseela), Fanaa and Baqaa, the Lamakaan and Liqaa are different. Some attain unto the Maratib through the Construing (Tabeer) of Dream, some through the Ilm of the Tafseer, and some through Roshan-Zamiri, and some through the Marifat of the Mushahida endowed with the Qurb of Haal and Ahwaal and the Wisaal, and some through the Nemul-Badal and some through the Beneficence of Ilm of the Azal and some through observing the absolute face of the death of Nafs, that is, Die-before-death. The Tahqeeq of each of these Maratib can be accomplished through the Outwardly and the Inwardly Tareeqs.
Allah Almighty says: and my welfare is only in Allah (11:88)
For instance that Qalb, which is the Living, the Maratib of the Wisaal, La-Zawaal, Haal, Upshot, Ahwaal, Jamiyat, Jamaal 'Lo! Allah is beauteous (Aesthete) and He likes the beauty' and the Mushahida of Ain (the Essence of Lord) Jamaal are got by it. However, that heart that is Dead, it is the seeker of Dunya (World), it is that, which has given up saying Assalaat (Prayers); it is the imbiber of liquor, it is the People of Bidat, it is the listener of the music warble, it is victim of reverie, it is the host of Satan and the obedient to the Dajjaal Nafs no matter whether t is Aalim Faazil or a Jaahil. The Qalb and Zikr-e-Qalbi, the light of Qalb and the Jamiyat of Qalb are achieved only by that Qalb, which is Living.
SHARAH OF DAWAT
Moreover, Dawat is read in the start for the religious affairs and difficult ventures. [For this purpose,] the Imperfect executor in Dawat, first offers the Assalaat (Prayers) of Istikhara (consultation with God). Such Master of Dawat is called the Ahl e Aamil Dawat. And that person, who, for this quest (Matlib), undergoes Muraqiba with the power of Taufeeq, such Master of Dawat is called the Ahl e Kaamil.
