Allah Almighty says: and had taught him knowledge from Our presence (18:65)

 

That person, [who becomes knower of the Alif Allah], he takes the Mushahida of Both-the-Worlds on the backside of his fingernail. What for he is short of that he will [read and write and] hold pen in fingers?

 

O Prophet of Allah Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam! You are the comfort of my eyes. O Allah! Confer blessings upon our lord Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet!

[Qurratu Aeini Beka Yaa Rasoolu-Allahe Allahumma Salle Alaa Sayyedena Muhamma-din-nin Nabiyyel Ummeyye]

 

HADIS

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

Do not hear any name besides the Name Allah.

 

HADIS

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

Do not keep Liking for anything other than the Muhabbat of Allah Almighty in your heart.

 

[Besides Him] and other Course is parting and declining and [that Course, which opens] with the Name Allah, that is everlasting and the Ain Wisaal. [That is, those persons, who become Waasil with the Almighty Haq, they never part from Him].

 

Second is the letter of alphabet Baa [which tells this] that Name Allah is sufficient for you.

 

Third letter of alphabet is Taa [which shows] that Tawakul is essential side-by-side Tauheed.

Tauheed and Tawakul are twins.

 

Fourth is the letter of alphabet Saa [which proves this] that by remaining steadfast (and persistent) on the Course of God, desired jewel is gained.

Istiqamat is above Karamat and Maqamat (reaching unto higher Stations).

 

 

 

ABOUT ISTIQAMAT AND KARAMAT: Uprightness is called Istiqamat, which implies that the Faqeer should remain safe against unrighteousness and should never allow the taint of Nafs and Satan in him. It also implies that he should never be desirous of anything else besides Allah. That unusual outcome that apparently seems impossible, if that happens by the Aulia-Allah Rahmatu-Allah Ta'ala Alaihim, then it is called Karamat and if such happens by a non-believer, then it is called Istadraaj. Since, in Karamat, there is possibility of the taint of the Nafs that is why Istiqamat is above Karamat.

 

About Tawakul: Tawakul means breaking relation with 'all that, which is besides Allah' and making relation with Allah. Tawakul has four Degrees, which are as under:

1.       Earning the Halaal livelihood and eating Halaal (lawful and allowed) and providing Halaal to family and parents and expending in the way of Allah from this Halaal provisions and performing the Five Fundamental Elements of Islam. But this is the Tawakul of the ordinary persons.

2.       Tawakul of Second Degree is, breaking ties with the creation and making ties with the Creator. This degree is achieved because of the Tawajuh of the Murshid-e-Kaamil. The love for the world ends from the heart of the Seeker due to it and he, on entering the garden of Tawakul, removes all thorns of greed (grasping) and the Nifaaq.

3.       Tawakul of Third Degree is that the Seeker breaks ties with the entire creation and builds ties with the Creator and becomes His beloved, he always remains Immersed in the Remembrance of Lord, and Zikr-e-Khafi is gained by him that takes him to the Maratib of a Majzoob.

4.       The Seeker after Immersing in the Noor of the Essence becomes eternally Absorbed in Noor and becomes Laa-Yuhtaaj after finding the Martaba of the godly (Ba-Khuda), the Waasil with Haq and the Absolute Noor. He is left with no want of anything or any dependency. This is the entirety of Tawakul that is the holy person of Lord of Worlds Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallamand is available to the Faqeers of his Ummat because of his means. Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam has said that: "Faqar is my pride and Faqar is from me [that is, it is my Sunnat]
