And the Kimiya-gaze (Kimiya Nazar) is called that which turns the Dead Heart into Living (heart) through the Zikr of Lord and causes the Nafs to become dead with Fanaa-Fi-Allah (Destroyed in Allah). And Living-Hearted (Zinda Dill) is called that person that even after his death, his heart moves (throbs) with the Zikr of Lord and chants the Name of Allah with a loud voice under the dominances of the Zikr of Lord and thus, the ordinary people should be able to clearly hear "Yaa Allah, Yaa Allah, Yaa Allah"!
Why don't you attempt with heart during your life?
Why don't you drink this sweet syrup?
That heart that has turned Living by the Zikr of Lord, it dies never then;
That heart that has awakened by the Zikr of Lord; it never falls in slumber [of ignorance] then!
The life of heart is in accordance with this Verse:
Allah Almighty says: And when Ibrahim said (to his Lord): show me how do you give life to the dead, He said "Do you not believe". Ibrahim said "yes I do but (I ask) in order that my heart be at ease". (His Lord) said: "take Four of the Birds and cause them incline to you, then place a part of them on each hill, then call them, they will come to you in haste. And know that Allah is Mighty Wise (2:260)
There are two signs of the Living Heart in his life (Hayaat): one is the Unremitting Mushahida and Wisaal and the other is the life of heart through the everlasting Zikr of Lord (with such a result) that his heart faces Salb (Disqualification) never by anything. And two things use to be in the Mamaat (after death): one is living soul (Zinda Jaan) and body dead and the other thing is the soil and the favor that do not decay his body. With the command of Allah Almighty, he lies safe and sound till the Day of Resurrection because of the fact that even though the physical body of the Living-Hearted Zaakir rests in soil yet bugs and earth do not eat it by the Taseer and Auspiciousness (and blessing) of the Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat). Such person is known as Haafiz-e-Rabbani (safeguarded by Divine) and he the perpetual existence (Baqaa e Javedaani) is with him.
