Haroon wept so much that he fell unconscious. Fazal Barmaki humbly requested the Shaikh that 'O Shaikh! Please halt! You have killed the Emir of State'. Haroon's crying increased further with these words and he then said 'O Fazeel! You are Hamaan and I am Pharaoh'. Then Haroon asked 'I have come to know that you are under burden of some debt'. 'Yes I am under great debt of my lord' he replied. 'If I do not relinquish this loan in my life, great pity should be mine'. Haroon explained that he was asking him about the debts owed to people. He replied that 'thanks to Allah Almighty as His bounties are in abundance with me'. Haroon took out a bag containing a thousand Dinar and humbly put before him and said 'this thing I have got as share from my father's possessions. This is Halaal. If you honor to accept these and spend for your needs, there should be nothing to object'. Shaikh Sahib took a deep cold sigh and said 'Ah! My advice falls flat on you and it stands ineffective on your part. Here too, you have started injustice and have become outrageous. I bring you to deliverance and forgiveness but you are weaving the stuff of my destruction and ruin. I say you to give all that you possess to the rightful while you are giving the possession of outsider to that person who deserves not to accept it. O Haroon! Be shameful and fear God'. Saying this, he stood up and shut his door for Haroon. Haroon, with tears in eyes, left that place and said to Fazal Barmaki 'Mardaan e Khuda use to be as Hazrat Fazeel Bin Eyaaz Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe is!'

 

Abyaat e Jamali:

 

Like Ahraam, one piece of cloth for up and one for below needed,

His heart should be free of the worries of sustenance and clothing,

A mat or piece of animal hide is enough to lay,

And his heart should be full of the ache of his Friend,

This much possessions and holding is,

Just sufficient to Jamali and every Rind La Ubaali (the knower who is affected by no temptation)!

The Saints of the religion of older times were the True-Seekers of Allah Almighty and were truthful Saalikeen. They were rich in Inwardly wealth and spiritual affluence. That was the reason that their hearts were free from the love for world and gave no worth to it. Moreover, their hearts did not possess any respect and regard to the worldly people. They were all the time engaged into the study of death. Life of world was just observed as a dying thing like a reverie and dream in their truth finder foreseeing sights. The living and frequented (and thriving) world of the eternal abode of the Hereafter was truly visioning in their eyes. What parity can be in the unreal and mortal life of a dream and the living wakeful eternal life? Throne of dream is costly even if bought by a penny.

 

No matter if you have tasted all tastes,

And have spent happy hours all the life with your beloved,

When the clock of death will chime,

It will all look like a dream.

It is famous that a prince came to Hazrat Shaikh Shibli Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe and gifted some bags of gold coins in his honor saying that 'O Hazrat! I have given up Dunya (World) today and this is all my savings and possessions that I have brought to you. It is on your disposal Sir and please make me your Seeker and show the Course towards Allah Almighty and deliver me to that Rightful Beloved'. Hazrat Shaikh loaded those gold coins on his head and accompanied his one Dervish with him and ordered 'go and throw these in River Dajla (Tigris)'. He returned to Shaikh after throwing those coins in the river and informed him that he has done as advised and now he should be entered as his servant and let him serve.
