He, who has the want of the Wahdat of Liqaa after Fanaa,

These Maratib will be got by him by means of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam,

Every Reality was got from him with enhanced Tahqeeq,

Even the dead Nafs turns to be Living-Hearted by the Master-of-gaze.

 

It should remain clear the [Faqeer] Murshid grants to the True-Seeker the set of the Five Stations, Five Visualizations, Five Tasarrufaat, Five Taffakuraat, Five. Azkaar, Five Beneficences, Five grants, Five Ilhaam, Five Mazkoor, Five Noor, Five Qurb, Five Hazoor, Five Fanaa, Five Baqaa, Five proprieties (and deference) and five bashfulness. [Contrary to this,] the People of Outward always remains fighting with the enemies of Allah Almighty, that is, the Nafs and Satan remaining day and night in worship day and night. On the other hand, the Faqeer the Master of Inward beheads the enemies by one blow of the Sword of Visualization like a Mard Fighter against infidels (Ghazi) and comes in peace against war and combat.

 

HADIS

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

Istiqamat is above Karamat.

 

Allah Almighty says: And be you upright as you are commanded, and follow not their greed. (42:15)

 

Allah Almighty says: no soul will speak except by His permission; some among them will be wretched (Shaqee), (others) glad (Saeed). (11:105)

 

The "Sight" of Allah Almighty is neither Aks (reflection) nor is Ma'koos and He also has no long hair or physical features, as He is the Uncreated One. Therefore, giving Him resemblance with the creation, as per your own thought, is absolutely Shirk and Kufr.

 

 

 

ABOUT ISTIQAMAT AND KARAMAT: Uprightness is called Istiqamat, which implies that the Faqeer should remain safe against unrighteousness and should never allow the taint of Nafs and Satan in him. It also implies that he should never be desirous of anything else besides Allah. That unusual outcome that apparently seems impossible, if that happens by the Aulia-Allah Rahmatu-Allah Ta'ala Alaihim, then it is called Karamat and if such happens by a non-believer, then it is called Istadraaj. Since, in Karamat, there is possibility of the taint of the Nafs that is why Istiqamat is above Karamat. [Explanation by Dr. K B Naseem]
