He said "how many in the twenty?" That person reported "ten". Then he asked "how many of these ten?" The answer was "five". Asked again "then how many of these five?' The reply was "two and these two Seekers are such which are rare to find in the world". That Saint said, "You must be one who has not seen such Seekers but for my murder, these two are just sufficient!"
O Bahu
BAYT (COUPLET) Seekers of this age are inferior and lack courage (and mettle), Seekers [of this age] lack [the real] Demand in every way.
Most of the Murshideen [of these days] are shopkeepers (and tradesmen), Masters of greed and Nafs and [similarly,] one in thousands would be a Seeker, who is of good stature.
Allah Almighty
[That is, Murshid the Master-of-Authority
(and volition) can only be he, who obeys the Orders of Allah
Almighty and the Holy Prophet of Allah
Hence, the Order of the Murshid-e-Kaamil is as if the Order of Allah Almighty that the Qaza of Lord initiates through this order and the Seeker remains obedient to his command such that he remains scorched in the fire of Muhabbat and Ishq like kebab. The Murshid-e-Kaamil is the likeness of river and the Seeker is wave of this river. Neither wave leaves the river nor does the river leave the wave. This is the condition of the Seeker the Fanaa-Fi-Shaikh (Destroyed in Shaikh). The Murshid is like the eye and the Seeker is eyesight. Neither eye leaves eyesight nor does the eyesight leave the eye. Ilm is likeness of the Shaheed (Martyr) and Faqar is like Shahaadat (Martyrdom). Free eating, free drinking, free dress and sleeping with peace and comfort exist in Ilm and Ilm is the name of wandering (and drifting) and employment of tongue and in Faqar, there exists melting the soul with hunger (and thirst).
